I started playing football in a rice field in a small village in India and this was the beginning of a path towards education and a life free from poverty.

what is VAANI
VAANI is an initiative that uses football to empower women in sports.
Through a one-day football championship and life skill workshops, we create a safe environment for all women regardless of their background, language, and culture to come together and play football. This one-day football festival is focused on giving the opportunity to all women to connect through sports activities and enable women to find their voices.
VAANI MEANS A VOICE in Hindi.
The one-day football festival consists of different activities, football matches making an impact on women's lives to highlight football to remove cultural barriers. We create a safe space for women footballers to participate and have a great experience. We give eveyone an opportunity to connect, share and have fun.
